Touch-ups – what's normal after a tattoo heals?
My tattoo from a year ago faded a bit in one spot (color work on arm). Is it common to go back for a free or cheap touch-up? How do most places handle touch-up policies – time limits, what counts as needed vs. just fading? Experiences in Toronto?

Touch-ups are pretty standard, especially within the first 6-12 months for minor stuff like uneven lines or color settling. A lot of places offer free or discounted ones if it's their work and not due to bad aftercare. I had a small touch-up done no charge at 8 months.
